By registering for the European Grief Conference 2026, the delegate agrees that their personal data will be processed for registration and handling purposes, as well as to receive information related to the conference.

Any personal data will be used solely in accordance with current EU data protection legislation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed further than stated here.

The delegate also agrees that their contact details may be used by the hosts of the conference (Danish National Center for Grief/Det Nationale Sorgcenter and Bereavement Network Europe) to send initiatives, offers, and/or information by email regarding related future events.

Sessions may be photographed and recorded.

  • Photos and recordings may be used for training and marketing purposes by the organising partners of the EGC.
  • These materials may be made available to members of Bereavement Network Europe via https://bereavement.eu/
  • The delegate may “opt out” of being recorded by informing the organisers of the European Grief Conference 2026 in advance.  If they do so, the organisers will ensure they are seated in an area not covered by camera angles.

Below is some information about the museum:

Built in 1325, the Casa do Infante (House of the Prince) is so named because it was the birthplace of Henry the Navigator.
The building, one of the oldest in the city, was also the largest in size, mainly due to the two towers built in the 14th century, which have long since disappeared. This national monument has served various purposes over the years, including as a residence for official visits from the royal family, the city's former customs house, and the mint, which operated there for several centuries.

In the 1990s, the house was restored, and archaeological excavations revealed traces of modern, medieval, and Roman occupation. The mosaic floors, among other discoveries, indicate that it was once the home or mansion of a wealthy citizen during the Roman period.

Station 11 of the City Museum forms part of the sound and material axis of the museum map, reactivating a trail of memory composed of traces and gestures. In addition to the permanent exhibitions and the Archive, the Gabinete do Tempo (Time Office) was recently opened, offering a series of exhibitions that provide an in-depth experience of episodes and perspectives on the city's chronology—invoking memory and allowing the imagination to leap across more or less probable connections between this and other periods.
